V.Training Method
1. Adopt a training method that combines curriculum teaching and scientific research
(1) Postgraduates should complete the course study (except HSK courses) in the first and second semesters and complete all the course credits required for the degree;
(2) Postgraduates should conduct scientific research and the writing of graduation thesis in the second and third academic years to prepare for graduation and degree awarding;
(3) In combination with the development trend of electrical engineering disciplines, encourage tutors to cultivate international master students with domestic and foreign scientific research institutions and enterprises through joint training, practical exchanges, etc.
2. Adopt the tutor responsibility system
(1) Adhere to the principle that the supervisor is the first responsible person for postgraduate training, and the supervisor is responsible for the specific guidance from the formulation of the training plan, the selection of the thesis topic, the scientific research, the writing of the thesis to the defense of the dissertation;
(2) Mentors are not only responsible for guiding postgraduate scientific research work, but also concerned about postgraduate political, ideological and moral character, mentors should have strict requirements on postgraduate students in terms of rigorous scholarship, scientific research ethics, and unity and cooperation;
(3) The supervisor should also cooperate and assist the postgraduate education management department to do a good job in the management of postgraduates.
VI.Curriculum and Credit requirement
1. The composition of the curriculum system
The international postgraduate course system consists of four parts: public compulsory courses, professional compulsory courses, public elective courses and professional elective courses;
2. Credit requirements
The credit system is adopted for the training of international master students. Graduate students are required to take at least 35 credits during their studies, including at least 32 credits for courses (16 credits for degree courses and no less than 4 credits for public elective courses), and 3 credits for compulsory courses. All course examinations with a score of 60 or above can be awarded for the credits of the course.
